We’ve normalized being constantly on, tracked, and stimulated and it’s just not how we’re wired. I’ve been experimenting with screen-free weekends lately: more time outside, reading, writing, moving. Less noise, less measuring. More of what actually matters. Balance is key!
I love being able to get the answer to any ridiculous question that pops in my mind at the touch of a button. I loathe that people believe they are entitled to 24hr access to anyone and everyone. I would happily ditch my cell for a landline and go back to simpler times.
